Just Another Day in the Life of Me....

Today was just about the busiest day ever at my place of employment. We have the Balloon Fest going on and being that the weather was not up to par for launching hot air balloons, well people needed something to do, so shop they did!

 

Luckily in rehell, (aka retail) the busier you are the faster time goes, so when 5:30 rolled around, I was up and out of there! (Not without an awesome bottle of wine, of course!) I stopped by the grocery store to pick up a few things for dinner and before I knew it I was home filling my belly full of food and that awesome wine!!!





 



 

Klinker Brick is an amazing Old Vine Zinfandel from Lodi. It's fruity and spicy but pretty smooth. It really is an amazing wine, especially for the price!!! Only 17.99 at  my local Cost Plus World Market. The price may vary depending on the state you live in, but it was well worth it! It went great with the three cheese ravioli I made!

After dinner we decided we needed something to satisfy our sweet tooth, so we ran over to our local McDonalds, which is literally across the street, for a couple of their dipped (aka dippy) cones! Of course we had to take The Taco with us, he loves a short road trip any day, or night, of the week!

When we got home we decided that instead of fighting the crowds in Belden Village for yet another fireworks show, (it wasn't great weather)  we would stay home and see what our Apple TV had to offer.

Did I mention that Balloon Fest is the first of many activities going on during Hall of Fame week/weeks?

NFL Hall of Fame to be exact! Football season will be here soon and i Can. Not. Wait!!!

 



 

Let me just say, if you don't own an Apple TV box yet, go out and get one!!! It has to be the most awesome thing Apple has come out with!!! They are only about 200 bux but you can practically have the cable cut off, that's how awesome it is! No monthly payment!!!

We watched a very (VERY) new movie on it. ( let's just say this movie has Channing Tatum in it )



Ok, maybe I watched the movie, but that's ok. Dan's a graveyard shift worker so he gets the shut eye whenever he can!!!
