This chicken recipe is probably one of my most favorite out of all the chicken recipes that I know. If you love garlic and balsamic vinegar, this is the recipe for you!
I started out with 4 good size chicken breasts, sprinkled a little sea salt a black pepper on them and I cooked them in the skillet with a melted butter and olive oil mixture. About 6 to 7 minutes on each side.
After the chicken is done, take it out of the skillet and set it to the side. Then add (depending on how much sauce you want) one cup of chicken broth and half a cup of balsamic vinegar. I also added lots of whole garlic cloves, one onion cut into quarters, and I squeezed as much juice out of a lemon that I could, and also one tablespoon of maple syrup.
Bring the ingredients to a boil.
After the sauce thickens up a bit, add the chicken back in for a few minutes to soak up some sauce.
For a side I roasted some fresh green beans and red onion (we love onions!) with a little drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkle of sea salt and black pepper.
I can't even begin to tell you how delicious this was! You just need to try it for yourself!!! It took less than an hour from start to finish!
Can you say Yuuuuummmmmmmyyyy!!!!! Mmm I can!!!!
