Dream Vacations! A U.S. Vacation Wish List!

I love going on adventures, seeing new places and trying new things! My husband and I have been talking about where we might want to go on vacation next year so I thought I would compile a list of places I want to go here on the ole blog.

1. Astoria, Oregon
Astoria is one of those places that seems so cozy and quaint. A place where you can take a super relaxing vacation in the Pacific Northwest. I am in love! I mean, they filmed The Goonies here! What other reason do you need to visit this historic town!? And it's so close to a couple of other cities I would love to visit! Portland and Seattle!! We could really make it a whole long vacation and spend a little time in each city! Why not?

2. Sedona, Arizona
Sedona is amazingly beautiful! Surrounded by extraordinary red rock formations, Sedona is a hikers dream! Ok, who am I kidding? Sedona is a hikers/rock climbers/mountain bikers/star gazers/relaxation aficionados (I mean, really, I could go on and on, but you get the point!) dream. My Dad says this is the place where he would retire to and live the rest of his life. I would just at least like to visit Sedona one of these days!!!

3.Palm Springs, California

Oh Palm Springs, such a beautiful desert oasis. Quite expensive, I've heard, but one of these days I will visit you and stay at the amazing Ace Hotel. I'm sorry but this place is a dream, period. Palm Springs basically has perfect weather year round so that totally takes the guess work out of picking the best time to go.

4. Colorado Springs, Colorado
They say a picture is worth a thousand words... Need I say more?  Well, if you insist. Colorado Springs sits at the base of Pikes Peak in the Southern Rocky Mountains. I say if you're looking for a vacation in the mountains this is definitely the place to go!

5. Anywhere, Hawaii
I honestly don't think I even need to say anything about this one! My in-laws went to Hawaii earlier this year and I was more than jealous! One of these days Hawaii, one of these days!
Just look at that beautiful blue water!!!

  1. I can tell you from experience - Hawaii is absolutely incredible!! I got to spend a few days in Honolulu on a stop over once, and it was the most beautiful place! I just loved it. I would love to go to Arizona too!! Where in Ohio do you live? I'm in NE Ohio - Akron to be exact. Happy Saturday! -♥- Rachel (For the Birds)
