Baked Kale Chips with Flax Seed
Let me just start by saying that I LOVE any kind of greens, but I don't eat near as much as I should! I've decided that I need to start eating much healthier than I have been lately. I always have a hard time sticking to diets and all that mess... I mean, I don't diet in that sense of the word really, I just don't eat as much and let's be honest, that's not the healthiest thing to be doing. Sooo I went to the grocery store and bought a bunch of veggies and while I was there I saw a container of flax seed. I've always read about all the benefits of flax seed but I had never bought any before, I didn't even know if I would like flax seed. It's official! I do!!!!! Eat them on anything you can!
I decided to make some kale chips when I got home with some of the kale that I got and I thought I would sprinkle some flax seed on them!! They were delicious so I thought I would share the recipe with you guys! It's super easy! (like for real easy!)
You'll need:
Kale
EVOO
Sea Salt
Flax Seed
Preheat oven to 300 degrees
Wash and dry the Kale and cut out the stems.
Drizzle EVOO over the Kale, make sure to coat them well! Toss them in a bowl if it's easier!
Just add the Flax Seed and Sea Salt. I say just use as much as you want!
Bake them for about 20 minutes!
Super Yummy Deliciousness!!!
There are so many benefits to Flax Seed! Check out the article on WebMD! It has some neat information!!!
